Whereas property crimes were 456 burglaries, 1,312 larcenies, and 49 motor vehicle thefts. The index crime rate in 2017 was 2,814.4 per 100,000 individuals. Compared to reports in 2014, there was a -13% fall in total crimes in the county within those 5 years. However, a breakdown of the numbers reveals that while 6 out of the 7 major crimes declined, 1 went up. Murder, declined by -50%, robbery (-25%), aggravated assault (-23.9%), burglary (-27.62%), larceny (-5.20%) and motor vehicle theft (-14.04%). Rape rose by 40%.

Requesters are also required to include a fingerprint card containing a legible set of fingerprints and proof of identity. It is optional to include a social security number.
